Choosing Your Cat’s Name
Having chosen your cat, you now need to find the perfect name for him or her. You could choose one based on the colour or markings of your cat, or one influenced by your favourite character in a book or movie. Other names could be inspired by themes such as botanicals, Greek mythology, candy bars or cartoon characters etc. Whatever inspires your choice, it’s important that you like the name, and that you think it suits your cat! One practicality to bear in mind when naming your cat includes making sure you are comfortable shouting that name loudly in public if you ever have to go looking for your cat. We’ve also found that names that are two syllables, or that can be shortened to two syllables, are easier to say loudly when you want to call your cat.
